About PrivateHolidayRentals.co.za

Find places to stay. Discover places to go. That is what we are about.

PrivateHolidayRentals.co.za connects travellers directly with privately owned holiday accommodation across South Africa. No booking commissions, no call centres — you deal with the property owner from your first enquiry.

Why book direct?

• Better value — owners don't pay portal commissions, and that saving is reflected in rates.
• Local knowledge — the person who answers your enquiry knows the house, the town and the best restaurants.
• Private homes, properly looked after — these are family holiday homes cared for by people who love them.

What makes us different

We're building more than a listings directory. Alongside accommodation we publish destination guides, activities and attractions — so you can plan the whole trip in one place. Our team curates every listing and guide published on the platform.

For property owners

If you own a holiday home anywhere in South Africa, list it on PrivateHolidayRentals.co.za. Creating a listing is free, and enquiries go straight to you by email or WhatsApp.

Questions? Get in touch — we're a small South African team and we read everything.
